Rajasthan sets benchmark in technical education

JAIPUR: The state has bagged 84 projects out of 413 under the collaborative research and innovative scheme which is highest in the country. The scheme is funded by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The scheme is meant to encourage the junior faculties of technical colleges and universities to carry out research projects in mentorship with institutes like IITs, NITs and others.

For academic session 2019-20, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has approved as many as 57,747 pharmacy seats in 842 new colleges across India. With the new additions, there will now be a total of 2, 62,698 diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate seats in 3,726 pharmacy institutes this year. The surge in number of seats underlines the ever expanding Indian pharmaceutical market. BENGALURU: A whopping 57,747 more pharmacy course seats and 842 new institutions, after the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved the same. In all, the AICTE has approved an intake of 2,62,698 diploma, UG and PG seats in 3726 pharma institutions this year.
